BROOKFIELD PROJECT – small back yard with wildlife habitat, recycled and permeable materials,  storm water management

Wildlife habitat, rain barrels, recycled stone, permeable walkway backyard photo

Small back yard is now a wonderful habitat for birds and other wildlife with native plants chosen specifically for  birds, along with a trickling birdbath and feeders.  The garden also includes a  smaller area of lawn lined in stone, a rain barrel for filling birdbath and watering nearby vegetable garden,  and paths made out of permeable and recycled materials.   Homeowners commented that the yard actually feels larger.
