NAPERVILLE RESIDENTIAL PARKWAY GARDEN BETWEEN TWO OAK TREES
Multi-season woodland and savanna parkway garden between 2 new native oaks in front of a residential home. This photo was take ~1 yr. after planting. The parkway is sometimes referred to as a “hell strip” or “boulevard”.

Homeowner did a great job installing using the detailed design plan, installation layout plan, bed prep instructions, and places to purchase plants provided with his design package.
This photo was taken looking in the reverse direction from first photo above. Passersby admire the garden says homeowner. Certainly way more interesting and beneficial than a lawn!
There are stone paths through garden for maintenance and a lawn strip bordering street and garden for delivery trucks workers, dog walkers and snow plows.
